Say what you want about Apple, but having <3 supported devices, each capable of running the same updated firmware is a beautiful thing, as opposed to the fustercluck of a myriad different handsets, each rocking a different 'dessert.'

I had a similar problem on my Sony Erricson w810i. I replaced the stock black cover with a white cover, and the screen had a bleed effect under the plastic.

Does this qualify as uncanny valley? Because technically it is synthetic.

I'm sorry, but what's so challenging about white plastic?
