Exactly; this article reads like Mickey Rooney ranting about the proper use of a thing that he longer understands.

So just keep those college admissions and engagements, 2 massive turning points in one's life, to yourself? You must be a terribly vapid individual to prefer pictures of cake and funny links to hearing about your friends personal accomplishments and life-changing events.

Meredith, I think you misread the "book-binding" scene a bit. I took it as Booth creating a fresh book, and weathering it to make it look like Henry's lost tome.

I am baffled. When they announced this, living in NJ, I figured i'd be all set to go when they inevitably made NY one of their first stops.

I look for up/downvote arrows on every site as a force of habit.

Jesus Diaz is an embarrassment. It's a shame that Kotaku gets a lot of the flack directed (rightfully) at Gizmodo.

You really want to go down that road after the prequels?

Looks terrific, just dubious from a structural standpoint. I'd be concerned about the tang of the axe blade compromising the integrity of the bat, leading to an explosion of wood and bolts when it accidentally makes contact with a brick wall.

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times.

"Floaty straw thing" is very clearly a mechanical pencil lead, as clearly pointed out in the Engadget article.

This is a non-issue, and doesn't belong on this site. Period.

Really great reporting guys. The story has a hard drive in it, so lets put it (and it's politically leaning implications) on our gadget website.

To paraphrase Maddox, for every lightbulb you don't turn on, I'm going to turn on three.

Seconded. I don't come to Giz to be sucker punched about my, or any theological or political beliefs.

Ice doesn't ruin most whiskey. Nothing quite like 2 big rocks melting in a glass of bourbon.

@Hotscot: No more than it's in danger of becoming "cancelled."

@rudecherub: "The same is true for real ale, cool but not cold, otherwise the taste is destroyed. "
