I love the way Iron Man 2 handled the Cheadle recast.

Sharper was dull. It was painfully cliched (especially the ending) and ultimately, the film was about marks, not sharpers. The gimmick of switching protagonists also made things even more predictable.
Why is this presented like he just got the role? Ant Man 3 wrapped shooting almost a year ago. (This isn’t an isolated incident; announcements like this happen all the time.)
