Yep. Is that so weird? I’m a huge fantasy/sci-fi fan. Loved the Sandman comics. I love his ideas and concepts. And I’ve certainly read much worse writers. But he isn’t a great writer.

Funny how all the actors have been reduced to either leaving or getting in screaming matches on set AFTER Fuller left if he was the asshole.

Honestly, the only examples I can think of are the ones that last forever and are smoothly sailing ships by the time the showrunners walk away (usually because it’s just time not because of issues with the network.) Shows like Doctor Who or Supernatural. Which is a super different scenario.

Alas, it is pretty naive to think you can mention David Benioff on the internet and not get into that debate, my friend.

He still had zero experience before taking on the job. And relied almost 100% on book material until it ran out. Which is the opposite of the situation above.

I’m sure his family is MORE than fine with that.

David Benioff was not (and is not) an expert showruner.

Fuller is a better storyteller than Neil Gaiman so they should have let him keep on doing his thing. (I’ve read all of Gaiman’s works. He has amazing ideas. But he isn’t a great writer.)

I bought a $300 paid of headphones and the right headphone stopped working after a year. It was a very common problem with that model. When I tried to get it replaced they were jerks.

I have the older version but I charge twice a week (and then out of fear.) And I use fairly regularly.

He definitely gets correct information sometimes. Which seems to validate all of this stuff. So I wouldn’t feel bad. But he really just publishes whatever with no verification. And he has become more paranoid and nuts over time.
