I think she’s being very legalistic in her phrasing. There is no written policy making this the official method of dealing with families on the border. It’s just the practice.

Both her and Tom Brady are the WORST, for sure. I’m more annoyed by the attack on the concept of wisdom than anything. Being older doesn’t make you wise. But it’s one of the potential benefits of age if you decide to learn from your experiences. It’s not a dig on young people.

Gisele didn’t say anything remotely worth apologizing for. Saying you get wiser as you get older isn’t saying young people are stupid. Wisdom isn’t the same as intelligence. Wisdom implies experience.
