It didn’t intentionally take their side, I don’t think, but Sheela is very charismatic and funny so giving her so much air time does tend to give the impression that she’s the one to root for here. Which is absurd.

Andy Cohen is a horrid misogynist who is also a terrible talk show host. That’s why he needs all of these gimmicks. Because he has no skill in getting conversation to flow naturally.

Patti LuPone can be a real jerk but I agree with her 100% on this. I don’t think we should ban non-stage actors from the theater or anything. But it’s almost always disappointing. There are people who train their whole lives for that very specific skill set.

You are missing my general point. There is no plausible way for him to make himself the victim in that relationship to the general public. He wasn’t being a stand-up guy. It would literally have been impossible for him to pull that off under the circumstances.

When you cheat after being with someone for 8 years you lose the right to blame it on her being a bitch. Regardless of how big a bitch she was.

He could have trashed her when all the nastiness went down but he kept his mouth shut because he didn’t want anything negative about her in the press that their child would eventually be able to see/read.
