You shouldn’t have to rely on your employer for healthcare, and your employer shouldn’t have to provide it for you any more than they should provide you police protection. Healthcare is a basic right that everyone should have regardless of employment status or socioeconomic condition.

Well, the majors don’t charge for checked bags in Japan so everyone isn’t carrying all that much. People typically step out of the aisles pretty quickly, too. You definitely don’t see the folks with two huge bags standing in the aisle trying to figure out where they can shove them like you do frequently in the US.

For the domestic flights I take in Japan, they basically always board in ~10-15 min. Priority for elderly/families, then business/ff status people, then everyone boards at once. Always goes quickly.

Reminds me of when I was in Okinawa last year, my flight from Naha was delayed on the tarmac because of several fighters scrambling for some nonsense with the Chinese in the area. Was pretty fun sitting in the plane by the window watching and listening to them whooooosh down the runway.

Not so much, really. I own the Cassette Vision, Super Cassette Vision, and the Super Cassette Vision Lady (indeed!) The Lady is the only really valuable one of the bunch, and it is quite hard to find. Some of the games for both systems are pretty scarce (especially the late Super games) but nothing too terrible.
