I don’t watch twitch streamers often. I like the commentary videos which usually are the content.
Yep. Regarding Youtube, you can’t go back in time and say “invent the untapped market of fail videos, prank videos, or video game live streaming.” At best, they can say create an entirely new niche that people don’t know they are interested in yet.
It is weird because you can excoriate the NRA using regular language. They aren’t a particularly likable organization and not everything bad is fascism. I think people read 1984 and took the wrong message from the stuff about newspeak. It is conscious though, because if you can call someone something that everyone…
That’s because pretty every creative endeavor is a pareto distribution. The more successful you become, the more opportunities you will have to be successful. It is the same way in acting, art, music, comedy, etc.
I understand that you are pro gun control, but at least appreciate the functional knowledge of making rules that actually have an ability to do things.
While I don’t necessarily agree with your solution, thank you for accurately explaining the nonsense vis a vis people’s worry about guns that look scary vs addressing the actual functionality.
Assault rifles have select fire, meaning you can switch from fully automatic to semi-automatic with the flip of a switch.
This is useless information without understanding that the majority of “successful” Youtubers don’t make their money from Youtube directly. Youtube has been horrible to try and make money off of since the adpocolypse. You do it through MakerSupport, Patreon, and live streams with pay to comment chats. Also you sell…
I didn’t know this group existed. Fair enough.
Is there a not dumb version of an ATV enthusiast? I think it breaks down into three categories and the first I don’t consider enthusiasts:
It isn’t illegal to make your own gun. It is only illegal to sell a gun without without a serial number. I doubt the constitution would even allow for making home gunsmithing illegal.
It will be an AR 15. That is how they are made, on milling machines using CNC files.
Same guy, new venture.
You wouldn’t because my 100s of other stores is in reference to competitors, because my comment is in reference to the free market fans not giving a shit, because alternatives. You aren’t talking about them for some reason, but I was.
The hundreds of stores is referencing all the stores that aren’t Dick’s that sell them.
It is trivial at this point. If you can use the internet, you can make your own gun. You just buy the milling tool for around $1000 from the guy who invented the 3D printed gun and it will create the gun for you without any experience in machining. You just put in the milling file and it does the work for you.
“The NRA has yet to respond to the move, but given the neo-fascist tone it has adopted, whatever the gun rights group does, you can bet it won’t be subtle.”
Yeah, letting the free market decide isn’t a big deal for people who hate socialism, because now you can just open an AR store near a Dick’s and take their business, or alternatively go to any of the hundreds of stores that still sell them. Or you can buy a CNC machine and purchase lowers and uppers to make your own.
Gan Bei is the world I learned, literally meaning dry the cup.
