I disagree. Tenure track professors, particularly those who have tenure, have the means to fight this nonsense but either fail or refuse to do so. Calling for adjucts to not cultivate a division is basically saying, “Hey, don’t make us feel bad for ignoring the problem (at best). We don’t like feeling bad”. Yeah? …

It’s padding so he doesn’t injure himself. He’s fond of doing his own stunts and they don’t want him injuring Xenu’s chosen tushie.
There is a running bet on who is going to eventually pound his ass senseless. Smart money is on me. I can’t stand him.

First, this is a fine written piece, but I take issue with the author in some places, and with some of the people I feel we’re supposed to sympathize with. First, it could have used much less of the author self insertion to reaffirm his own level of attractiveness. We get it, you’re hot.

I’m gay. I’m not a prude. This is gross.
There are blackout and sex parties at every gay bar in my city at least once a month, and I still can’t get behind the new prep culture of bareback anonymous sex. It’s a complete slap in the face to everybody who fought for AIDS research and awareness for decades. And in this political climate I can’t help but point…
“Look at me! See! Guys think I’m hot and want me! Something-something-sex party history-something I can’t keep them off me! Wheeeeeeeeeee!”
It seems to me, that when the entire comment section is more concerned with how you reviewed something, and not what you reviewed, that maybe stylistic venturing got the better of you.

If you’re not shitting at work, you’re just leaving money on the table.
Sounds like you’re part of the problem.
Sorry other folks aren’t as accepting of your hero’s casual racism.
That was far too specific of an event to be a coincidence.
Am I supposed to know what Cinefamily is? You’d think that would be explained in one of the first few paragraphs.
Having the sick impulse to call the cops, from the site of one of the worst flood disasters in American history, to report victims of that flood for looting a supermarket; but also: a crime
Cunt, cunt, cunt, cunt. Enough goddamn fucking taboos. The left really is embracing thought crime. You dumb cunts.
