Well, there was that two-minute coda at the end of MAN OF STEEL where everybody was, like, "This guy is so cool," but then that was completely contradicted by most of BVS, where even the montage meant to show Superman looking heroic was sinister and creepy.

Where would superhero movies even be if people started doing that?

This looks like Zack Snyder's idea of a Star Trek thing.
