“Surprisingly”, huh?
“Surprisingly”, huh?
I know, I was just being a goof :)
Oh, I know. I’m just being goofy.
Is it really priceless when it’s insured for a specific value?
Would lip service really satisfy anyone, though? It seems to me that if they said anything like what you suggested, it would likely be even worse for them. They’d get hammered even harder for not taking these concerns seriously because it would be obvious lip service.
lol, well, sort of. At first, I read the recaps just to see if I’d made the right choice, or if the show managed to turn itself around. But the last few, I admit there’s been a bit of schadenfreude as I see that the show hasn’t gotten any better. After all, there haven’t been that many episodes since the “OMG WHO DID…
I’m sure the comments here will be all about the trailer content and not at all completely about how ScarJo is white.
Oh, for sure. I just mean, it’s not about this one thing, you know? It’s more like, I’d rather spend the money on the ingredients and make the blends rather than spend the money on the blends because it’s less expensive that way - when you make a lot of blends. But you’re right. If you’re just looking at this one…
If you’re anything like me, you’ll feel soooo much better when you shake this monkey off your back. I very loudly said I was giving up on it after last season’s ridiculous “cliffhanger” and like a lot of people who said the same thing, I got savaged for it around here. But I stuck to my guns and haven’t watched this…
Z Nation is still on the air. They’ll get around to it eventually, I’m sure.
Is there a reason this is the only show io9 still does recaps for? I know it’s popular (though ratings did take a solid hit after this season’s opener) but is it so popular that it warrants the “Only Show Recapped at io9” title?
That’s a very good point. Last year, I bought all the ingredients for the corned beef recipe from Chef Steps - and there’s a lot. And most of them, I needed more than would come in a small jar, and the next step up from the small jar is the MASSIVE container. So that’s what I ended up getting, for a few of them, like…
I dislike buying seasoning blends because I rationalize that all the ingredients are available separately, and cheaper. Yet, the blends themselves, the ratios, are definitely a recipe. You can’t just toss equal parts sesame seeds, salt, garlic, poppy seeds, and onion into a bottle and expect to get Trader Joe’s blend.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?
And once again I can’t believe they’re doing origin stories for half the League in this movie. That’s just... a tremendous waste of time, to put it kindly.
You didn’t pay attention to what he said. We’re not judging the movie. We’re judging the trailer. If we think the trailer looks like shit, that’s a valid opinion to have, and it’s completely separate from what we might ultimately think of the movie later on.
Marvel Studios has been responsible for 13 highly regarded movies (and The Incredible Hulk) and half a dozen mostly highly regarded TV shows, but you’re going to give WB a pass because you’re hung up on Iron Fist.
I have zero knowledge about this but I would be shocked if Cassian Andor doesn’t play a role in Rebels season four. He kind of has to, doesn’t he?
He died at the end of BvS, and Snyder is so bereft of decent ideas that bringing him back at the climax of Justice League Part 1 to save everyone is probably his idea of a great finish.
You’re not talking about other countries here because you can’t. You can’t say out loud that the United States is the outlier. Or that you are defending your, and the U.S.’s, desire to tell the rest of the world what to think and what to say.
