Would you like some helpful advice for Metal Gear? There's kind of a way to save in the game so that you don't lose all of the items you've gained but you still lose out on what room you've made it to. There is so much frustrating bullshit about that game, though. Glad you're pushing through it.

This will finally be the weekend that I finish Trails of Cold Steel and I could not be more excited. I'm about to enter what I'm told is the final dungeon so hopefully it won't take me too terribly long. Then again, the final dungeon in Trails in the Sky was probably at least double the length of any of the other

Yeah, Eater battles definitely feel like you're fighting against a brick wall, especially since they don't have any weaknesses. So far I've found the best way to fight them is to use stat boosting skills/items to give yourself a tiny bit of an edge. I need to get myself another high ATK stat mon since most of mine are

If you have a Vita or a PS4, Digimon Story: Cybersleuth is the best Digimon game in years (which I know is not saying much). It has its problems, but if you're looking for a Digimon game, I recommend it.

I'd say Platinum is emminently skippable but playing at least one of the games from Gen V is essential. Black & White basically serve as a reboot where only Gen V Pokemon are available prior to beating the E4 and offer a decent story. Black 2/White 2 function as true sequels to their counterparts, add in non-Gen V

I have a feeling transfer will work just like uploading from Gen V where Bank will just take whatever's in your Box 1 in the PC. As far as converting DVs to IVs, assigning Natures and Abilities, etc., I wonder if transfer process will have to do that automatically or if the games themselves will have ability/nature

Eh, we knew it would be only 6 minutes so it's no surprise it was just basically a thank you video plus a Sun/Moon tease.

That's some straight up Jenna Maroney shit right there.

The price on Vita is not a mistake. It's cheaper than the PS4 version which might be due to it only being available digitally for the Vita? I hear you about the limited farm capacity, but gaining EXP gets to be pretty trivial if you know the right setup. It's nice to have the game grind for you while you are actually

I'm so close to the end of Trails of Cold Steel but I don't think I'll have enough time to finish it this weekend. I have half a chapter and the epilogue left. Tensions are really mounting in Erebonia, and also the rest of Western Zemuria. It's really a shame that we never got Ao no Kiseki here in the States because I

VERY SLIGHT FUTURE STORYLINE SPOILERS: So in an interview with Jeff, Stephen, and Parv, Jeff mentioned that one of the storylines for this season has to do with bullying. I'm really hoping it doesn't reach World's Apart levels of awfulness, but the way they are promoting this season isn't promising. Regardless, I'm

That entire scene had me crying with laughter. Ravi is just the best.

Veronica and Logan forever and ever, amen.

Veronica and Logan forever and ever, amen.

I completely agree with you about Ever 17. The setting was intriguing but the epic love story failed to capture my interest at all, and it seemed like the sci-fi and the romance were always competing with each other. Maybe the dating sim/different routes just diluted my emotional investment in the "true" couple

I've been playing Digimonstory Cybersleuth during the week so that I won't get sucked into Trails of Cold Steel at night and stay up late. Instead I've been staying up late training my Digimon. Oh well.

Given your well-documented love of 999 and VLR, I assume you've read Ever 17 and Remember 11? Having played the Zero games first, I wasn't as blown away by the twists in those games but I definitely feel like they're sister series, especially with Uchikoshi involved. I just wish Ever 17 hadn't been tremendously boring

When I recently replayed VLR I had also forgotten how gross Sigma is. It's…not great. There's kind of a reason he's like that, I guess, but the joke (if you can call it that?) fell flat for me.

Tales of the Abyss is my favorite Tales game and Jade is my favorite character. Luke's growth arc is fantastic, but it kinda sucks that you're stuck with whiny Luke for a fair portion of the game.

Still working my way through Trails of Cold Steel. I've given up trying to play it during the week since it takes so long to do anything that I'd rather play as much as I can all at once than have to stop for stupid things like sleeping or eating dinner. In the meantime, I've started Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. I was
