I watched an episode of this season's Homeland out of curiosity just to see where the show is now. It was terribly boring and uninteresting. There's a reason why I stopped watching after season 3.

Predator now, Predator tommorrow, Predator forever!

Drive- Finally watched this film after many years and it was great. It was a combination of a David Lynch film and a 60s/70s crime thriller. I loved the atmosphere, direction, and look of the film the best. The supporting cast gave the best performances in the film but Ryan Gosling's character was the most interesting

Wait, aren't Weeds and Dexter the longest running Showtime scripted series? Both ran for eight seasons and both sucked at the end which is par for the course for Showtime.

That's the worst name I've ever heard.

God, remember when Singul and others would talk about the dangers of "no-fly-zones" in Syria?

Surprisingly, there is good news coming out of the normally crazy state legislature in Tennessee. They are considering a bill that has gotten past committee that would give undocumented immigrants access to free college education. I believe other states have a program similar to this but I was relieved that the state

And getting rid of Mitch McConnell.

It made sense to take out Saddam during the First Gulf War when he invaded Kuwait instead of the false invasion in 2003.

As soon as Jill Stein determines that the wifi in the bunker won't cause cancer.

That's what I mean. When Mitch McConnell decided that his hatred of Barack Obama outweighed his service for this country, he destroyed the Senate. He turned a logical and fairly bipartisan branch of government into another chamber of government where party over country matters more than anything else.

John McCain called anyone who wanted to get rid of the filibuster a "stupid idiot" and well, he ended up being one of those "stupid idiots." Mitch McConnell has destroyed the United States Senate and has turned the United States Congress into a de-facto parliamentary government.

Jimmy McGill from Better Call Saul. Bob Odenkirk's performance has been a revelation and he brings so many layers to his character. You can see the huckster side of him, the charming side, his humorous and good-natured side, and his intelligence that not only adds to Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad, but adds to a

It's fascinating in that Hillary Clinton disagreed with Obama when she was Secretary of State and wanted airstrikes in Syria. I'm more mixed right now when it comes to the airstrikes. I can see a reason for doing it but I hope that this is not a one-time incident or there is no follow-up plan. The last thing I want is

I see the Singultarian is back but using a different username.

The USSR only had one party control the government. I thought we spent decades telling the American people that we should not be like the USSR?

Don't be surprised if they try to eliminate the filibuster rule altogether and turn the Senate into a majority rule chamber like the House. It spells doom for this country and goes completely against the purpose of the Senate.

Speaking of a government with no regard for the law or its people, the Senate just voted to kill the filibuster rule for Supreme Court nominees. As if I need anymore confirmation that Mitch McConnell and the GOP have destroyed this country.

Well, Trump did criticize Bill Clinton.

All of this. Trump is the personification of a middle finger to everything these people hate.
