BAD HOMBRE!

Maybe an odd one since there are a many that are great but biopics. I feel like most of them fall into cliches and schmultzy nonsense that doesn't feel earned. I wish more would be risky and show the warts-and-all of the main character or characters and try to say more interesting things than trying to be inspiring.

So does anyone else like Peter Jackson's King Kong? I love it and it is definitely one of the best remakes ever made by a Hollywood studio. The performances by Naomi Watts and Andy Serkis are great and I even like Jack Black's casting in the film. It looks great as well and I loved the look and environment of Skull

The Washington Post had a good article this week that described why Congress has been so ineffective under Trump. Part of the issue stems from the fact that most of the people elected to Congress in the last 6 years or so were elected to oppose Barack Obama and his policies and moderates were voted out. Because of

I also enjoy reminding people who complain about Obama increasing the size of the federal government that Bush oversaw one of the largest increases in the size and scope of the federal government and that Obama was significantly behind him and Reagan when it came to increasing the size of the federal government.

Not to mention those mind-boggling stupid tax cuts in '01 and '03 and then turning around and saying, "Oh yeah, we also need to increase spending for war and Medicare. Believe us, it won't create a budget deficit at all!"

Martin Scorsese is a Christian and he makes great films with themes of Christianity.

Agreed. I had to read it in high school and it made me angry reading such crap. It was only recently that I read works like Graham Greene and it made me hate The Shack more because Greene's take on faith and God is SOOO much better.

Isn't this essentially going to be Boogie Nights set in NYC? The plot of the show is centered around the Golden Age of Porn and they both take place in the same time frame.

So what you are saying is that Snapchat and the NRA are both evil? I didn't need to be told that since I already knew.

Plus, I doubt law enforcement from Colorado or any state with legalized marijuana would help them.

Another one, fuck Jeff Sessions for wanting to return to the Draconian marijuana enforcement policies, not pursuing voter ID cases, and abandoning investigations into corrupt police departments.

Trump has emboldened all these people to come out of hiding because they have a president and Attorney General who won't prosecute any of these crimes.

Fuck Trump for wanting to start a division dedicated to tracking crimes of immigrants. That's straight out of the Nazi playbook and utterly pointless as well. Also, fuck Congress for going along with all this BS.

These people were pretty reprehensible. I encountered the group on the day of the Boston Marathon Bombing so while they were "offering thoughts and prayers" to the victims, they were cursing and insulting immigrants in the same comment.

"Hello Disqus Tech Support, have you tried turning it off-and-on again?"

Definitely. There are a ton of Facebook pages and groups that are filled with crazy people. I encountered one a few years ago called "Stop Amnesty Now" which was essentially filled with a ton of racists wanting to get rid of all the immigrants and Muslims.

But what would they call that show about law and order? Rule and Control?

Emails?

He freaking invited people whose families were victims of crimes committed by immigrants! Stop being duped by his "presidential" speeches, media!
