Hank and Bobby Hill. Despite their differences and not showing their emotions, both of them loved each other deeply and I always liked that the show acknowledged that Hank thought Bobby was funny.

"I wish I was dead. Oi!"-Death Wish franchise

Did anyone see his segment last night on Wells Fargo? I thought that was particularly strong and felt like something he would do on the Report.

I would watch the shit out of that show. Instead, we get another MacGyver series….

I remember having a bit of a problem with the Big Gay Al episode where he was banned from Boy Scouts because he was gay. They started to sympathize with him but then they decide to crap on the people who try to defend him as being self-promoters and bullying the people who did not want him in scouting. I believe that

Oh, I've wasted my life.

It was even nominated for a Golden Globe for the first time in 2003.

I'm not her biggest fan either but I never doubted that she is incredibly intelligent.

I'm fairly certain that Donald Trump is Gabby Johnson from Blazing Saddles since Trump talking is just "authentic, frontier gibberish." The fact that there are people I know after the debate saying that both Clinton and Trump were "idiots" was infuriating. Say what you will about Hillary but I don't understand how

It's not a bad read if you are interested. It's only 200 pages though it delves deep into religious thought and imagery for good stretches.

The Japanese are actually more intelligent than the Christians in the novel especially those in leadership positions. If anything, it makes the main character's quest for converting people into Christians vain.

The book is definitely a personal book to the author Shusaku Endo who is a Japanese Catholic but has admitted how much that feels like a contradiction and struggles with that identity. The book deals heavily with East vs. West ideologies and questions the nature of Christianity thriving in the East since it is so tied

Having read the book, it is far more interesting than the plot says and not just another Christian Persecution Complex film like God's Not Dead.

Once Upon a Time in the West: While it was good, I think I prefer The Dollars Trilogy and Once Upon a Time in America as the superior Sergio Leone films. Peter Fonda was fantastic in it.
Jaws: Always good for a rewatch. Still great after all these years.
3:10 To Yuma (2007): Great film. Definitely plays into the idea

Walter Mondale was absolutely destroyed in the 84 election and endorsing him was seen as pointless/stupid because he was going to inevitably lose in a landslide. I believe a lot of Democratic politicians shied away from him as well.

Walter Mondale 84!!! Fun Fact: Apparently, when Al Gore was running for Senator back in 84, his political opponent joked that he would give him a donation if he said "Walter Mondale".

Obama's appearance on BTF was similar in a way that Galifianakis was able to take jabs at the other. When Obama was asking people to sign up for health care, Galiafanakis said, "You mean the website that doesn't work?"

I was promised death panels but I see none. Thanks Obama!

I scrolled through the comments and halfway down I just said, "Yeah, I'm not reading this anymore." It's a shame because The AV Club is one of the best comment sections on the Internet.

I really do like this movie. The performance of Tom Hanks is great, it's well made, and I find it both funny and heartfelt especially the ending. Pulp Fiction is far and away a better movie but I still like Forrest Gump and I'll watch it if it is on cable.
