Talk for yourself.

Wow. Seeing Alonso on the podium became hell of unfamiliar O.O

Sometimes the stewards are wrong. This is not one of those times.

Well Petter Solberg was quite successful with his effort while driving a Citroen so I think the success might have a lot to do with him & his team. But anyway it is very important for WRX to not get the manufacturers involved to much, because that makes every racing series overpriced rubbish.

Global Rallycross and the FIA World Rallycross Championship are two different entities. FIA WRX drew 16,000 people into a mud hole in Germany and last years start of the Supercar final was a social media sensation among the car community. So while I am not sure if it pays of from a monetary standpoint, it sure is

If they would have more fuel flow, they would probably just run more boost pressure wouldn’t they?

Well I saw a Reliant Regal a few weeks ago here in Germany.

Yeah but there is a big disadvantage of the red -> red+amber: it is unsuitable for a clean start of a small race of the line because many already go on the red+amber when they should wait for green. This is especially true for northern Germany, where the red+amber time is a lot longer than it is in the south/east

Yes but it is still a stick-slip-effect, not warping. Anyways it is true that cheap rotors wear significantly quicker than quality ones and anybody that suggests it’s all the same steel and you can’t do it wrong has significant shortcomings of knowledge in this matter and should quickly stop suggesting anything.

Sadly this will never happen with the current development costs.

This one photo sums up the United States of America nicely.

Not familiar with the rules? Do not comment.

It doesnt matter how many cars get wiped out in front of you if your engine wont last the race.

Helmets start at around 40€, which is 1.3 times the price of a single lap on weekends...

Did they really use a spectrometer do determine the non-metallic residual in the void? I think they probably used energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, which is integrated into the SEM.

“He put himself in a position where his continued participation in the raced depended solely on someone else’s judgement” Ayrton would be proud :D

And he is right. There was a “significant overlap” between the two (the commentator even stated this in the process). Not respecting this is the reason why we don’t see any good wheel-to-wheel racing anymore, but only crashes and stupid penalties...

It also says that you have to stop the car at the side of the road in case of the loss of fluids. So it is probably the spirit of the rules to extend this to the loss of car parts.

Your description of the TÜV inspection is not that wrong but it isn’t right either, beginning with the fact that it isn’t called TÜV officially, but “HU” (Hauptuntersuchung = main inspection). Thats because there are many institutions besides the TÜV which are allowed to do the inspections. If you are interested in a

The situation between East and West Germany was totally different compared to Korea for multiple reasons. First and foremost there was no war, therefore the border wasn’t shut down in the same way and people werent as divided. There was (of course state inspected) mail delivery and family members in the west often
