That not visiting thing! My extended family (that is estranged now) doesn’t realize one of the cracks in the family started because they wouldn’t visit my dad who had liver cancer. Seeing as he was going to die within 4 months, it would not have killed them to get off their asses once and visit.

He’s an asshole, she’s meaningless, and I haven’t spoken to that asshole friend since. My thoughts? Shut the fuck up and pretend it didn’t happen.

Again, high school assistant principal here, and you can feel violated. We’d count that as an assault and possibly a felony if it were on a teacher (gray area here). But my point is, kids suck when they’re like that and yes, you should feel violated. That was a shitty thing to do.

It’s “Something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read.” So my sister wanted a very specific calendar, I got her a swell bottle (for the gym), I picked up a MAC kit for her (wear) and a book she wanted.

My mom NEEDS to see a dentist and hasn’t had a check up in years. I hate to say that I’ve resigned myself to the fact that she’s probably going to have a heart attack and just die because she won’t do a little proactive care.
