Yeah I think it was easy for teen me to overlook a lot of those red flags on both of their parts. Adult me values that arc as it fits in with the larger narrative of the season even if it’s hard to get through.

Yeah! I knew it was something like that (it’s been a while since I rewatched Season 7, and that episode is well done but sometimes feels overshadowed by some of the other stuff). I’m not saying that it’s not potentially problematic, but I thought it made a reasonable amount of sense.
