way to tell the difference between Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Cera: the fact that Michael Cera is the one who's in the shitty movies.

they should make a show about a dancing plague, y'know, like the one in 1518.

thus granting all interested parties legal masturbatory sanction.

I love Adam Scott but
the Ben/Leslie loveā€¦ line segment feels so obvious and forced.

The Great Mouse Detective / An American Tail

I totally thought
that this was the mid-90s JTT vehicle.

my guilty pleasure
is reading AV Club reviews of reality tv shows.

"The show *might* have been more worth watching if the guy who played Todd's boss in the pilot (Matt Walsh?) had gone to Mumbai instead"

Yes! Though this phenomenon (of watching something because it depicts characters with whom the viewer relates demographically, but the accompanied message not necessarily being a "good" one) can be destructive and unintentionally perpetuate racist stereotypes.

I read the wikipedia summary. Interest not piqued.

I hope that jerkus ABC lies awake at night
regretting its decision to cancel Better Off Ted.

MPDG is also in the very-good Humpday, which beautifully deals with situations of sexual awkwardness, and which is about two straight guys who decide to make a porn together, so obviously everyone should watch this movie.

I've read the books, but I've never seen the first HP movie without Neely narrating it for me.

WP,DR is IMPORTANT.

if they used Neelyvision animation, it would be awesome, but it also would be canceled. like probably after less than two episodes.

Space Ships
MESI-much?

@SimonBarnes

I found original guy to be way too much of an A-hole.

may I suggest
Brewster McCloud (Altman, 1970)?

I kind of liked how they actually performed the scene from it in Jersey Girl, but not the use that tired child-in-a-play plot device.
