TJ Miller did an interview on Nerdist and frankly he comes across as experiencing some sort of manic episode. I noticed the "north 40" and figured it must be an idiom used to refer to any distant location on your property. I'm not an oil or cattle baron though so Im not sure but wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
