Scary town, Williamsport./s

Will it really tow 17 1/2 tons?

Sounds just like one of the Dunkin Donuts in my town.

I remember looking at a GMC pickup at the dealer long ago that was badged GMC on the outside and Chevrolet on the inside.

I guess you’ve never lived in my neck of the woods and had ice come off a semi in front of you.

Back in the early 80's, I knew a guy who had the last stock of Hodaka parts in the country.

I want to know more about that Corvair.

If you want to get out of the house and away from the wife.;)

That depends on the administrator of your pension fund. Different locals have different rules, mostly dependent on if your new job will impact a union member.

UPS’s deal with the Post Office is Surepost. FE has a similar deal called Smartpost. Before I retired, UPS kept any Surepost within a mile of another stop or any Surepost with the same address as a regular stop.

This past spring, I gave my 2 year old Honda mower to my son because I honestly didn’t like it. I bought an Ego, and love it. Quieter, no gas or oil to worry about and depending on how deep the grass is, I can get 1-1 1/2 mowings out of a single charge.

I was a Teamster for 34 years working for that company with all the brown trucks. Never once did I cross a picket line.

I just wish I could read the whole article. Kinda won’t let me get past “continue reading.”

I don’t know, but you should add an early 60's Continental to that list. My father had one for a few years, (I hated it until he got rid of it) and it was the fastest and smoothest cruiser I have ever been in.

SAABs!!!!!!!

There is one big company out there with a lot of brown trucks. If you can get in, and qualify, you will easily make six figures a year and probably be home every night.

My 1973 SAAB Sonnet. Saw it years later, and it was a decrepit mess. It broke my heart.

If those two gauges are the same as the rest (?) of their new models, they become a rearview screen when you use the turn signals. Actually kinda neat.

All of the five trucks I’ve owned since 1979 have been Japanese. Two (real Mazdas), one Nissan and two Tacomas. Other than the Nissan, all have been dead nuts reliable.

If the recall is the same as my 2013 Tacoma, even if it doesn’t need a new frame it will be coated internally and the warranty will be extended for (I believe) twelve years.
