Seriously, who likes the Sand Snakes? That whole plotline bores me to tears. At risk of sounding like a “book snob”, I found them to be much more interesting in the novels, and more fully fleshed out as characters. I’m not shedding a single tear that some of them have been killed.

Wait, you like the Sandsnakes? I always thought they were the weakest part of the show- very one note, weird dialogue (“but you need the bad pussy!”) that doesn’t flow like anyone else’s lines, a plot that makes very little sense (so the people of Dorne are just going to entirely abandon House Martell and allow

All of what you said, plus a big “fuck this guy” from me. I’m not a communist and I’m not opposed to people having money, but I don’t give a shit HOW much money you have, you follow the fucking rules, or you pay a penalty that means something - and a fine of $17,000 plus 200 hours of community service (that I bet a

I work in affordable housing, which includes managing construction of units. The regulation hoops you have to jump through to build and construct things, along with dealing with city and county inspectors is pretty complex and there are consequences if you don’t follow them. So this is complete and utter BULLSHIT that

I look at this guy’s house, and his hairline, and I’m so certain that a ton of money and work went into both of them, and yet they are both so bad.

About seven or so years ago, I gave up my addiction to fashion magazines for this very reason. I’m a magpie and I like pretty, shiny things...but those magazines just became so insultingly manipulative (or I just outgrew them), that I just go so annoyed one day, said f**k this, and tossed it all out.

I don’t think children should be punished for the sins of their parents, but they also damn well shouldn’t profit from them. And no one is going to convince me that she’d have this fancy schmancy business if her father hadn’t been a murderous tyrant.

I am very sick of hearing about the vacuous and stupid children of wealthy criminals and despots.

She’s always amazing, but I think my favorite Maya impression is Maya Angelou:

In a just world, Ivanka gets a front row seat to watch her father and her husband get beheaded like Ned Stark.

Given the “sexy secret” nature of her diction, she could plausibly have the white male vote in this country.

In a just world, Ivanka Trump is not gently mocked but is instead repeatedly pelted with rocks and garbage wherever she goes

‘If you want to get the matching panties, you can get them but they’re $14.95.’”

At the time this letter was written Madonna had just delivered an abysmal, embarrassingly amateurish performance in the overwrought, laughably bad Basic Instinct ripoff Body Of Evidence. It was an obvious ploy to become the new Sharon Stone. So it seems she was aspiring to achieve mediocrity and fell far far short of

All kinds of horrors. A couple of ladies who were close to the finish were so incredibly weak from hunger that they had to sit in a shower and wash EACH OTHER’S hair because they could not lift their own arms above/behind themselves.

The calorie restrictions were indeed insane. I saw one of the early seasons and this woman, who worked out all day because they work out like they’re going to war, was trying to stay at 1200 calories for the day.

They basically gave them all eating disorders while praising them for it. . . I wonder how many viewers got eating disorders by following the advice from the show.

That’s what I always think of, too. I wasn’t even a watcher of the show, but I remember the reaction. And the winner really was shockingly thin.

Multiple former contestants have said the show gave them permanent health issues because of the insane calorie restriction and exercise they were doing to lose all of that weight.

Didn’t one of the contestants say they were coughing up blood after being made to run miles in the heat? It’s easy to get a bunch of couch potatoes to lose weight rapidly when you starve them then work them to death. This show didn’t promote health or a healthy lifestyle.
