I don’t do much mobile gaming, but does the ESRB’s influence carry over to digital downloads via app stores? I don’t recall seeing the familiar rating logos when downloading; if this applies only to physical copies of games it really isn’t helping much.

I distinctly remember watching the Reading Rainbow where they went to Hawaii and the book was Hill of Fire and used to have recurring dreams about a volcano erupting (in N. Carolina of all places). All of this just came roaring back to the top of my mind with all this recent Volcano talk.

Off topic. I thought the ice in Speed Skating was always Zamboni(ed) after each race, after all it is shiny and smooth. No. They just sprinkle water. On the reverse of that, it NEVER looks like they clean the ice for Figure Skating.
