Honestly.... I still believe that Avatar’s success is born out of being seen as alternative viewing to the MCU. I feel like Snyder-heads LOVED Avatar. After Thor 4 and stuff there was an outpouring of toxic MCU fans who were straightup mad about all the new female heroes and stuff. It doesn’t lack sense.

Doctor Strange 2 was the best film of phase four. People get butthurt over Wanda being evil and “not the cameos I wanted” but if you look threw that nonsense it’s a pretty fun flick.

Worth checking out now that it’s binge-able? Hard to know with A.V. Club reviews these days they slap a lot of A grades on popular mainstream stuff (they gave Quantumania a B grade before negative press came out).

Oh I just did a whole deep dive - I guess there’s backlash against Sydney Sweeney’s nudity in Euphoria? That makes sense, she’s very attractive and I don’t think the nudity is the problem. I think the problem is she’s playing a minor on the show.
