If the income generated from news content is insignificant, then share ALL of it, you festering polyp on the intestine of humanity!

From an originalist standpoint, it’s because the Congress is expressly granted the right to lay and collect taxes in Article I, Section 8. It is one of Congress’ plenary powers. Why does the federal government have a right to tax that money? Because the Framers of the Constitution saw fit to grant that right to the
