I really only have two complaints about Timm/Dini’s take on Batman.

It’s like a plot-twist turducken.

A system was set up to run a certain way and everyone involved agreed that it was a perfect system. They were wrong. And it wasn’t until our characters started poking around that anyone was able to realize that the system may be flawed. This final season is really about convincing Gen (and hopefully others) I guess.
