I think the struggle will be the push/pull between long-distance with the safe guy vs. a reforming Sam.

Jack’s differing relationships with the various kids were so much fun.

I felt like the Mick kind of lost its way.

I will never forget the episodes that ended up with A) the stupid love interest straight up dying of dehydration in the sauna; and B) when the terminally ill homeless guy took the arson fall for the youngest kid.

Holy shit, that show could get hilariously dark.

For me, the main thesis for who makes the best rulers is:

Should’ve renamed his character Julius Pepperwood. From Chicago.

“leading to a film that failed to really do any one thing very well.”

I saw this noted in a multiple reviews. So he seems spot on.*

Honestly, Tyrion’s explanation was the best one - the show itself just missed telling the last few steps between Freeing Slaver’s Bay into massacring innocent women and children. There needed to be more escalation.

There was an abrupt jump between Mereen and burning the Tarlys. Then another big jump between that and

C’MON NBC

I like the people in this show too much for it to be cancelled.

I’ve been re-watching Cougar Town and while it does run out of steam in the last two seasons, it was such a fun show with a killer cast.

Either way: Go Bruins in the final!

It was 3-0.

WHY ARE THE SKEKSIS STILL SO TERRIFYING?! I’M AN ADULT MAN!

Bullshit.

Hockey teams shake hands after every series. Even teams that HATE each other to the core.

Davos lived! Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Shanked.

Carolina got by the Isles because the Isles offense was even worse.

I will look him up! Thanks!

I’m currently just getting into book 2 on my re-read and this will make me pay more attention.

And I’m down with Roose maneuvering from the beginning. Makes sense for his character.

Based on the sequences with the kids in the first few seasons I don’t think the mom’s death was planned from the beginning. It just doesn’t gel for me.

But I do agree that ending up with Robin made 0 sense by season 9. The time had passed and they’d spent so much time making me believe she and Barney worked that it
