On second thought, this review makes me think this was almost a writer/actor revolt. I mean, could you design a more “fuck you please cancel us” season of television that what we’re seeing?

Damn. I loved the first season, but when the reviews of the second started sliding I just couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to watch. The assassination of Quinn and Rachel’s characters ruins it.

As someone who quit just before Wrath and came back last winter, it is an incredibly different game. And in my opinion, a much better one.

There’s so many quality of life improvements I can’t even begin to list them.

Gobs of lackluster original content + losing ever more older series and movies + failure to add some of the better new series and movies = less likely to continue to subscribe.

The over-reliance on original content is the biggest drawback for me. That and the fact they’ll be losing all the Disney content next year is…

The 1906 Transformers movie is so completely 80s, with an amazing soundtrack, ridiculously stacked voice cast, and a great stakes raising plot that of course introduces concepts never before hinted at in the cartoon (the Matrix, Unicron).

It’s freakin perfect.
