I think that there is a disconnect between Trump’s actual bravado and the bravado being perceived by his followers and opponents alike. I mean the use of commas in the “, under the Trump Administration,” aside seems far too grammatically advanced for his normal ramblings. That’s the real smoking hair piece right there.

Out here in New Zealand (part of that minor detail, “the rest of the world”) we were really hoping that America would at least be able to learn from an example of modern US awfulness as obvious as the Orange Clown et al.

By the way, it’s consistently worth remembering that Trump took out a full-page ad in the New York Post condemning the Central Park 5 and calling for the death penalty for children and then, when they were acquitted, doubled down and said they should be executed despite their innocence.

What I don’t get is how anyone could think Trump is the hill they want to make a stand on.
