lmao because overhangs? :\ jk I drive one and I'd probably flip in the first turn if i autox'd it, the body roll is ridiculous on these things, build quality is even poorer

Welcome to the NEW Golden age of the muscle car! Good god, it's only heating up!

Hey I need some advice. I've got the wrong (FWD) car for going on a road course but I'm very grateful to my parents for financing me this while still in high school (relax, I pay for it). So I wanted to set up like this, stiffer, but weaker than other aftermarket HOLLOW sway bar in the front, Strut tower brace for

Corvette C7 Zo6 and Porsche 911 Turbo

Hmm looks good but I think the design's gonna be a lot more 'flowy' kinda like the new Mustang and the rear end won't be as high as this gen's. Headlights look a little bit more curvy than the ones in the rendering.

Dang, I'm slow... just like the new GT's bout to be, but no really I see the joke 30 minutes later... it's cause what happened in the 60s where Ford almost buys Ferrari and in the last minute they cancel so they make the GT to beat up Ferraris in the 24 hrs de mans... :\ yeah im a slow one

Corvette Racing kinda already gets most of that job done?

lol so it's basically a GT2 v a prototype. Kinda like a F3 (I think? what do they call them f3000 or something? v F1. Not even the GT1 would be a match for a prototype.

Yeah it's a pretty decent car. People like to call it a failure but tbh I think the 97-02 GP Coupes were pretty much the best cars GM made in the late 90s or early 2ks (aside from anything LS or LT). Very reliable motor, could use some tranny work but people push into a good 250k range if well taken care of. It was

Stiffer front sway bar, really stiff rear sway bar, strut tower braces on both ends? If you don't stiffen this car up you're not gonna get performance out of it. Stiffening with reinforcement bars are maybe more effective than new springs/struts. That and a little bit of power boost surely it can hang with a E36 at

Well did you have any handling mods in it? You have to build it if you want to track against... well anything. The GP doesn't handle well stock

Yeah they tried to balance the GXP with a staggered stance and a stiffer rear sway bar... but the lighter older gen GTP would be much better handling than a GXP with a few after market parts like bigger rims, staggered stance, stiff rear and stiff sway bar, bracings, bushings etc etc

Yeah the late GXP was an LS4 V8... The older body supercharged version was a better car tho especially as a coupe it looked really good and it was slightly lighter. Also the supercharged is obviously easier to pull power from, 300 bhp is pretty easy with simple bolt ons

The ridiculously common but long forgotten M3 rival the 97-03 Grand Prix GTP (aka 2015 6 Series)/06-09 Grand Prix GXP... the GTP came supercharged 240 hp, 3400 lbs with 64/36 weight balance... and expected to compete with high end bimmers, GM made it more obvious when the released the V8 GXP literally calling out an
