The bagged ice we have around here is in cubes, not pebbles. I wish I could get bags of pebble ice!

Sonic is a weird thing for me, because when I was in college there were none close to us, but we were within their TV advertising range of them. So imagine a bunch of drunk hungry college students staring at the TV ads with the unlikely-colored array of vegetables and the perfect-looking burgers and fries.... Sonic is

At McDonald’s I ordered a black iced coffee and they asked me what flavor I wanted and how many pumps of liquid sugar. WAT. And yes they are evil I know, but it is across the street from my house and if their trash is going to end up in my yard and drunk people are going to mash burgers into their faces on my steps at

My husband insists I invented “hangry” . . . or he refers to me as “the werewolf” when my blood sugar drops. One day my work was crazy and I didn’t get lunch. Driving home, I tried to get food at the local Sonic (two blocks from my house) and the person taking my order was so incompetent I drove off in a hangry rage.

Bonus stars for the Monty Python reference.

Oh, come on! You love Hialeah.

Someone neds to bankroll a company named “Wahffer” to exclusively sell thin mints, just so restaurants can offer them by name for dessert.

The upselling is expected... they’re a business after all.

Oh my god Sonic ice. I have pica and when I was pregnant the last time I would go through the drive through at Sonic just for a big cup of ice.

Literally every time I go to the Sonic down the street, whether or not it is busy, it takes 15 minutes for someone to take my order and another 10-15 to receive it. And 90% of the time all I want is a milkshake.

Eeeees wah-fur theen

Wait, you mean they aren’t?

About three weeks ago I stopped at Sonic because we were craving slushes during the latest heat wave.

There are some South Florida Sonics, mainly in Palm Beach County. There are two in Broward but they are these weird "Beach" versions which is missing certain items.

Jaxson’s is life...

Watch out.... I live in south Florida (Palm Beach County) and there is a Sonic within 5 miles of both my office and home.

There used to be one on Davie Rd down the street from Nova Southeastern. But that was 15 yrs ago. I would have thought the general lack of well being in FL would have exponentially raised that number years ago.

An actual LOL from me on the “How about a wafer thin mint?” Thank you.

I’m from SWFL and we had two Sonics within 20 miles. Weird. *shrug*

THERE IS A SONIC IN SOUTH FLORIDA.
