The homestead land of my stepmother’s family was like where all arrowheads on the Caprock went to be buried. So many of them. Always very curious since no one had lived up there for thousands of years until mechanical well drilling was possible about 130 years ago.

Pampering? Of a sort but I doubt any of it is emotional, which is more important than anything else after the basics are covered. This family is not known for the warm and fuzzy.

They live in England, not California. Don’t worry, it will rain in two hours and replace all that water.
