Interesting sidenote about the VOTD movie:

I saw “Isn’t She Great?” and loved it as a series of vignettes. As a movie, it was kind of terrible. But, then again, I don’t like it when Bette Midler tries to play “real person struggling” because she’s really not that good of an actress. She’s much better playing over the top since, I suspect, she actually is.
