Who among us hasn’t met with a Russian lobbyist offering dirt on our father’s political opponent as a pretext to talk about sanctions, forgotten to talk about the dirt, and then lied about it for months?

It’s just gotten to the point that news like this just depresses me. It’s just another reminder of the kind of thing that’s supposed to obviously matter, but that obviously isn’t going to.

Oh, sure. That’s how most meetings with foreign officials end; people looking around saying nothing is happening here nothing to see here, folks. Everything is fine.

The Hot Felon story seems really Dickensian.

My first instinct is that this is a jilted lover/ former abuser situation, and the fact that that’s where my mind immediately goes devastates me.

There were times where he was the only likable character on that show. How sad, he was so young.

If they’re trying to convince me that he doesn’t have Alzheimer’s and the only person who can manage him is his daughter, they’re failing. Miserably.

Lorde rocks, and so does Taylor Swift, and if you don’t think so that’s OK too.

She’s going to write for a Black-ish spin-off. Which is seriously awesome! But we’ll miss her writing here for sure.

Full sincerity here; we’ll miss you and your writing here. I’m continually sad to see so many brilliant writers leaving this place, but I understand. It’s tough watching this place get slowly defanged and made increasingly mainstream and Voxian, but damn if you all aren’t magnificent at what you do.
