Your premise is flawed if you think art should always be about most efficient tools.

It’s like Lego superbuilds. Using other materials might be easier, but Lego has a particular appeal and audience. Also, more fun. So, sure, it might be easier to use purpose-built tools. But part of art is fun. The fun part. Minecraft is fun.

Why’s it stupid?

I don’t mind the horizontal inequality in size, but I really wish they would’ve just cheated the dots to be top and bottom instead of top and slightly-lower-than-center. It would make the hidden ‘N’ so much more pleasing to the eye.

What’s wrong with Origin? They regularly update their client, plus weren’t they the first ones to offer refunds? Something Steam finally got around to doing only because they did it? But hey, let’s keep the internet circle jerk of “Origin sucks” going. Who am I to argue against the hivemind. 

And yet you still can’t get a hold of and talk to a real person for customer support in a timely manner. All this growth each year and Valve acknowledging their shortcomings for years but hey yea more Dota 2 tournaments and CSGO boxes.

I have never really been interested in this smart household technology... until now. It has now dawned on me that I could use it to pretend I’m on the Enterprise.

All of this streaming stuff is great if you happen to live in a major metropolitan area where you’ve got not just high bandwidth but a high-enough data cap that it doesn’t matter.
