Really depends on the school system. But I've seen a class full of eighth graders (about 30) STRUGGLING to write a simple five paragraph essay. Some students could barely write a few coherent sentences.

I've taken some education classes and looked at real life examples of writing across multiple grade levels. You'd be surprised. This looks a little better than some eighth-grade level stuff I've read.

The squares are the same color. Try covering up the left and right sides of the squares with your hands (hiding the cylinder and the rest of its shadow) and squint a little. You'll see that they are indeed the same color but when you see the whole picture, your mind puts the colors into a sort of context.

It's kinda hard to tell, but the second picture totally has two soldiers flipping over a tank. Those are some great "vitamins"...
