Silverstone won’t go, 7 of the teams are located within 25 miles of the place. If you’re going to axe a crappy circuit, get rid of Baku.

I think you’ve omitted the big thing, and that is that it’s suddenly a really “big” thing! The Mk8 looks like it’s had almost 6" added between the wheels... it’s big and long and un-Golf like. I would almost bet that if you went back in time you would be able to find a Passat that was shorter than this.

It’s lost it’s

Because nobody in America has a TiVo apparently...

There is certainly a point in that if you want an amazing, fast track day car you’d be better off buying yourself a genuine GT3 racing car, and saving yourself a million bucks (at least) in the process...

What a mess. Did they even bother employing a stylist, or did they just get a 4 year old to model it out of lego?

I wait - with popcorn in hand - for Ford’s lawyers to be able to prove any of those “losses” alleged to Ford by Cena’s actions.

“Damaging brand image” my arse...

... and when the audience figures don’t amount to much, and sponsors get bored, who wants to bet on the pressure on these racers to start doing bikini photoshoots for FHM in order to get media attention?

Interesting that they are attacking this with an Agera RS, rather than a Regera?

With Ferrari now over 100 points behind MB in the constructor’s championship and both team cars out on the spot you can imagine the bollocking that Mauricio Arrivabene dished out to Vettel last night.

Koenigsegg phoned and asked for thier designs back.

Great to see it recovered but presumably the engine is hydrolocked = completely fooked?

Dont’cha just love how they dress this up as an environmental decision! They actually do the same thing at my local airport in the UK and everyone calls it “just another way to screw people for a few quid”

You should really own one of these things before you write this stuff. You’ve been drowned with the nostalgia of the G60 instead of the actual reality.

They look fantastic, handle like go karts, are really unusual and are a lot more practical than many people think. The G60 also sounds fabulous.

But they have no power,

That’s really depressing. I went to see it on Saturday and it’s two hours of the most mind numbing crap ever put on celluloid.

I think Mercedes have indeed been up to some mischief. The photos of the car at Joe Saward’s blog don’t have the comedy fin on them

As far as I can tell, the door stay sits almost exactly where you’d want to plant your foot to get out of it. Perhaps a normal door would be simpler, and weigh less too.

Meh you guys clearly havn’t been looking at the Ferrari carbon options catalogue recently if you think *that* is expensive.

I think it’s a shame they have now paved the Peak. It’s no longer the event it was 25 years ago, and it’s just another tarmac’d hillclimb now, albeit a really long one with big drops.

It was the loose stuff that used to make it such an amazing spectacle. Now you can race what is essentially a LMP3 car up it...

If he spoke to an American officer like that he would have been pepper sprayed and straight in the cells, and his car impounded.

I did particularly like the bit where the bus baulked him from exiting where his mates were stood. Pwned...
