I have a TDI Golf. I can get 36mpg towing at 90mph. So strap in a 55 gal drum in the back, and make it biodiesel do it dosent smell. That's 2,448 miles with out fill up. If I detuned the car to get no less than 42 mpg, It could be done with NO fuel stops. Because fuel stops are zero miles per hour.
