This. Add in the fact that cars are built to much higher standards, flat tires are not nearly as common as they used to be, and the fact that a scan tool is likely more effective than a screw-driver. It would be nearly pointless to include one.

Larger portion sizes! I honestly don’t recall the last time I had a meal on a flight in the US but to be honest it might be for the best.
Much like the SUV craze of the 90s. Where early CUVs were oddballs, it's possible but will likely require a major shift in thinking. Like high gas prices or other event that pushes a stigma on it
Cross country in what many consider to be the most reliable VW ever - Replace everything
Originally when the Ridgeline launched, I always looked at it like too much car/minivan. But oddly a guy on SCCAforum changed my mind on it. He chose one to tow his car to events for years and has a posted since 2007 about his experience with it.
There is no amount of rose coloring that would make nearly any 70s car seem reliable. Heck, it's direct competition is a early rotary, Pinto, and soon to be Gremlin, and Vega. Clearly shining gems of humanity.
Kind of what I got from it. To many F1 is the dream.
Or you are just insane, and no one agrees with you. Deal with it.
Can confirm, we have an 1.8t beetle. If the CEL is off, the battery is probably dead.
At the same time she could just bring the baby in unless she has a physical issue preventing it. Heck it's what I did even for quick stops for all things nerdy.
Indeed, seeing as men had a tendancy to work in jobs requiring physical strength this would likely be the natural cause of that occuring. Furthering that reality, especially of that particular era.
In a perfect world, but for every person that would be smart about. There are another 20 in line that will roll into a JD Byrider type joint, and roll off the lot with a 10 year old car, over 20% interest, and blow all their money without saving a thing.
Heck just going from a paid for car to one with a loan. Don’t forget to add the full-coverage! Just imagine the tears when that “manageable” $500/month loan is suddenly >$600.
Mustache!
It is nearly a 30 year old Japanese luxury sedan, with >200k miles on it and likely near no enthusiast market. This puts it squarely in the “Hey, can I make payments of $50 a month? Do I really need insurance or a license to drive? Would a 30 year old sedan be good to haul my 7 kids around? I’ll give you $300” group.
Well cared for with full records, nice price all day long. Mileage be darned.
A prime example of the don’t use crap lowering springs with stock shocks. So we had a family member come into town with his 2004 Dodge Neon, and wanted to see some of the better roads near by. He had either cut, or used some shitty eBay springs. Dropping it maybe 2 inches.
I would imagine a much bigger majority than the brown manual wagon crowd.
There is something to be said for the joy of driving a slow car fast, I can totally relate to this article. I used to drive my 70hpish single cam carbed AE86 from SC to NY twice a year for several years straight. And the mountain roads in Virginia were always a joy, even if at times I was riding 3rd gear with the A/C…
Funny the wife was asking a few hours before this came up if TG: USA was coming back. Awesome!
