I liked Louise’s idea of saving that one for another occasion.

I love how high Kendall obviously is all the time.

I anxiously await whatever Succession has up its sleeve that can top L to the OG, KenW.A. and “I need to negotiate a Greg-xit” all being in the same ep.

I was very sad to see Helena go. Noel and Helena need their own spin off show where they just talk about goofy stuff and make candy spiders.

Not just US themeed, the year they had to make pretzels none of them had ever made one before. It was odd.

Totally. Beignets are not a thing here in the U.K. at all. I have only heard of them from US tv shows, they aren’t common for baking Brits. However, choux is not that unusual so they should know.

I think it was last year where they had to make American-style pies.  Every baker bitched about how sweet they were, and then ended up making tarts instead.  It was surreal.

I’m not opposed to some broader themes that incorporate different types of food. This one just seemed like a stretch.

Some of them said they’d never made choux before. How do you go on this show without having made choux? It’s bewildering.

Not to mention undercooked curd. Blech. I wouldn’t have eaten that either.

They won't eat raw pastry or bread. With other things, I've seen them eat fairly raw. But then, everyone eats raw busicut dough. But yeah, in this case it was pastry, which is always a no.

I loved the cute ghost cake :-)

“Paul and Prue should have tasted Priya’s bake! She may have completely flopped, but she got something on the plate.”

They will not eat raw dough. It’s not safe. That’s fairly typical.

there is a ton of awe-inspiring action

I'm not the biggest fan and I gave up on the show long before it ended, but it is pretty and the acting tended to be good. I feel like it has a similar fan base as Sex in the City so at least it's an improvement from that.

That’s only because the showrunners scrapped the scene where they revealed McNally was actually Jamie Moriarty wearing a very convincing disguise.

I will miss Sherlock waking Joan up in increasingly alarming and noisy ways.

The criticism always seems to be that Elementary never reached the heights of its first two or three seasons, but I think that’s dismissive of the fact that Elementary ended up being significantly better than the majority of us initially thought it would be. I remember being extremely doubtful when I first heard they

I think Cox’s huge likability in the role means that whenever Matt does act like a dick, you feel disappointed in him - “Come on Matt, you’re better than this!” - which makes you more emotionally invested in the character.
