Scones add sugar to the dry ingredients; biscuits don’t. Scones are also shaped (often cut in wedges), rather than kneaded, rolled out and cut in circles. They’re not the same in the recipes I’m aware of.

Rock cakes and scones are sweet treats; biscuits are savory quick breads we put sausage and chicken and ham in like sandwiches.
“Dogged.”
Biscuit is also a cookie, and scones aren’t exactly biscuits. But I’m so glad that we’re figuring out pudding. I was still so confused when Brendan said he’d rather make dessert.
Adora is driving me crazy.
I don’t entirely agree. The humorous aspect is important, too. Shwarma was a relieving coda to bleak series of desperate battles. And the one where Thor and Dr. Strange plan a joint adventure is a great character study.
I wanted her and Diane to meet, and to find out why they were estranged. Probably some tulpa mumbo jumbo.
We saw it twice in the movie, first from Ben’s perspective (awakened by a light sabre glow), then from Luke’s (pondering his frightening portent). Thus the Rashomon effect.
I have to feel it was the pumpkin. The sweet potato pie didn't need pecans either, and it seemed to me like they all over-complicated their recipes. Americans make simple, one note pies. I'm surprised we didn't get an apple or a cherry, but I guess they did say only a bottom crust.
I’m getting more into AA’s performance in this, but I really want her to start fighting back more overtly with her mother .
The Rashomon aspect of the film was one of its strength. What Kylo saw, what Luke meant, what Rey knew; which is the least reliable narrator?
It’s the problem of Dune as well; too much prediction ensures only predictable things happening.
I’m definitely going to search it out now. It completely missed me.
Not just Kyle, but also Laura. I didn’t see the Tale, but Tulpa Diane was a study in all you can do with a character made from props, costume and mannerisms to make her also real, compelling and watchable.
They wanted to show how long it took. How many songs, how many cigarettes, how boring it was for her.
Instead, dreamscapes. Dreamscapes full of ghosts.
She will always be Enchanted to me.
The director is very good at the stream-of-consciousness edit; this is Big Little Lies without Malibu.
I don’t believe the show will ever get Gems to stop colonizing; the message instead has always been that Earth is a very special place that deserves being spared.
Excited for Robyn, Grimes, Exploded View and Suede; can’t wait for Prince though the most!
