I've seen several episodes, and most of the characters who aren't Tim Allen's have views contrary to his. The show doesn't pick one as the right one, but they do give time to the worldviews of the other characters.

Medical emergency sure, but for some reason "medical event" makes it seem to me that medicine or doctors caused the event. Apparently it's a error in my understanding, though, since no one else seemed to have a problem with it.

This discussion is the first I've heard of it. In fact, there are a lot of these alt-right type phrases (e.g. cuck, Pepe the Frog, SJW) that were introduced to me in AV Club comments (used critically, of course). Where do you people pick them up?
