I'm going to have to disagree. Among other things, this article doesn't discuss the namesake or how the probe is getting there.

But that's not important right now.

Ah yes, the A.V. Club is my go-to source for scientific articles. They have such profound knowledge that I couldn't find on, say, a website that knows about science.

It makes them feel at home.

The nephew-indoctrination failed.

San Francisco? You can't just disrespect Oakland like that, Barsanti!

Good points.

Trebek, when he mentioned the book of Romans.

Rachel is way too Old Testament-y though. Phoebe is a much better guess for something Greek (though perhaps Monica would be too? I don't know much about name etymology).

Wait, if I don't find her particularly funny, then I'm not allowed on this site? How long has that been a rule?

I have Totally never heard of him.

Tuco Salamanca doesn't strike me as a kid.

Well, if we're gonna pull out the math, we might as well recognize that a 500% increase is actually multiplying by 6. And 6 times 0 is, wait, nope, that's still zero…. But you got lucky!

That seems dubious. The trope they mentioned didn't happen; it was part of a made up story used to blackmail the guy. And is Gurney's communism inextricably linked to his homosexuality? I don't get their point.

Wasn't the portrayal in Hail, Caesar! a commentary on old Hollywood? The criticism there seems strange.

Perhaps it's just strange to me, then. In my eyes, it's ad hominem.

If the father recommended it solely because of the author, rather than the content, then yes I suppose we're on the same page.

Well, then I'd take my original point further, and say:

Probably wherever the r in "there's" went.

Whether or not the OP (or you) thinks following McCain's opinions is worth the time in general, it seems to me to be a weird principled stand to take against reading a specific item, particularly when someone wants you to and could lead to a meaningful discussion with that person.
