...actually strike that, until Uplay and AC Initiates is fixed I'm jumping over to rogue, I'm the complete all side-stuff before moving on in the story type of AC player, and there's two chests I can't open because I'm evidently Initiate Level 1 -_- even though I've played all AC titles, the data on the site seems to…
I'm with you, that was the skin that kept the meat of the other titles held together (or glue, whatever you want to pick), you were completing the historical parts to further resolve the greater story, what was going on in the current/future day... THAT is why I kept playing, the fact that this one seems to have…
oh and the touch controls on the PS4... why did they get rid of those? Yeah it felt kind of gimmicky being there right after the PS4 launched and it was almost the only thing to use it, but I got use to scrolling around the map via a touch pad, pinching to zoom out, etc... sad
I've been playing it for an hour, and it's not SO bad, there's a hit at the beginning of the current storyline, I hope that isn't the end... it is odd feeling to be brought directly into a memory selection screen though. Oh and it would help hugely if Uplay was up fully and the AC Initiates site wasn't bugged... …
They're highly rare, most I've ever had drop out of a single kill was 2...
The hive levels are bad for that due to lighting, blues tend to look purple on my screen on them as well. For note though, I've never heard of a gold engram in the wild... unfortunately.
The co-op missions feel half-baked. They are set in parts of Paris that the player may also have to visit for campaign missions. Co-op missions involve things like searching alleyways for clues, infiltrating heavily-guarded buildings to kill targets and, in one max-difficulty mission, enter a climbing-and-killing…
Hey now, there's that rush running up to where you just killed the boss to find the consumable item they usually drop :P
Too bad you can't force a Lara Croft-esque swan drive to the street below, because reading this review, it feels like what the game has done lol
Ubi always seems to embargo, always viewed that as a bad thing... South Park was embargoed and I was fearful that meant the game sucked (...once again for an SP game)... but low-and-behold, it was awesome! ...So I had hoped it would prove true on these games as well... no luck.
...well, no modern/future tie-in? dafuq? That was part of the game, yeah there was the meat of it in the past memories, but the skin to hold it all together was that overarching story.
Awesome they did that
But that's the first exotic I've seen that's a reskin, which feels odd, same model as the Stranger's rifle.
The game has won over 180 awards and nominations to date.
Agreed, the team I run the raid with on my main was a well oiled machine, we all knew our spots and roles, last section, you have your guys good with the shield and wielding the pretty low-damage oracle specific weapons to be the ones teleported in, meanwhile the home team holding down the gates are free to use…
THAT would've been awesome, and they could've used that as a selling point for the season pass by only giving that to them, until the whole DLC pack rolls out for people that didn't buy into it.
Not only that but the joke of a strike (hated by most) that is the current PS exclusive becomes available to them around the beginning of the year (so they can all learn that they shouldn't have been crying about it, it sucks) lol.
Yes, but you have to get that "normal" loot in the first place. People don't want to spend the shards to upgrade their vanguard/crucible mark bought legendary gear knowing that it gets broken down when you receive raid gear and the 18 you put into it comes back to you as 4.
I play with my wife, I lucked out and…
One week after the launch of Destiny I had to run out and buy some GelTabz for my sticks, hadn't used the PS4 much since launch, loved the controller, but yeah the sticks are way too slippery.
They need to nerf the costume, it may be too scary for someone in PvP
