@Lupison: T3 is a UK magazine, and the Evo aint out over here yet, so none of the reader base would have any experience with it.

Surely, after going to see them for yourself, this cannot be a major surprise. Avatar, the best use of 3d arguably, was not enhanced by the 3d at all. Let alone having to pay like $4/5 more for the benefit of seeing it.

Please no more in 3d. I saw avatar in it, it was good, but iv since seen it in "only" 720p and it looked just as good.

@Jack Hudson: Bugs, plus there was no support for N in 2.1. Plus it is mega killer on the battery, or at least it was, i hope they have fixed this, or there will be a lot of pissed people when this thing dies all the time looking for N networks

@ddhboy: If it is 2.2, then you will see N and tethering, as it is part of the 2.2 core OS.

@bananafishtoday: Thats the tech specs based on 2.1. It does have the hardware inside the phone already. As does the Nexus 1, and i would assume the Evo, and Desire, but it has never been able to be used because 2.1 does not have any code for it to be able to be used. People who have 2.2 on these devices can already

Im pretty sure if they asked /b or another /, they would get people to do this job, knowing the "risks" involved in it. There is some pretty bad stuff kicking round those image boards

So, if that is correct then, Verizon will start shipping GSM phones? And then assuming they still have 2/3g frequency capabilities, then I will be able to import and use them over in the UK?

@clearbox: It was a percentage figure. Regardless of how many people bought either phone, HTC customers are happier, as shown by the lower percentage of complaints. This is what he is getting at, not a dick measuring contest over who sold more phones.

@Jason Fitzpatrick: Im not sure about USA, but in the UK, it is technically illegal to rip your cd's to itunes etc. While this is a stupid law, that will never be enforced, it is still there. I have no idea how this translates to games though, i would imagine it is the same, but again, will never be enforced.

Im thinking this could be a verizion announcement.

He said there weren't enough HDTV's for HD Wii to work when it was first announced.

If that had android on it, it would be an amazing phone. Certainly something i would strongly consider. A beautiful phone, that doesnt include some dumbphone OS i think would be a winner, and a particularly good way of migrating all the "dumbphone for the looks" people out there.

@telepheedian: Surely a receipt would have been good enough proof of purchase date. If i had done this, then i would have believed my receipt would have sufficed.

@RicketyCricket: Im sure people that take gaming that seriously will have a rig that won't have any lack of memory issues. If i was going to have a gaming Pc, it would be dx11 compatible, with more than enough ram to run the latest games, let alone enough to run windows 7

@rhorizon: Wait, What?! it doesnt charge off every usb 2.0 port out there?! I though usb 2 was a standard, and they would all give out a standard power level?

@fate47 - meh.: That would be very hard to measure, and then state. Its going to be massively dependant on the strength of the sunlight that the device is receiving. But they do say they work well in low light, so i would imagine the thing will be very efficient.

@espinha: That was my first smart phone as well. So so long ago, and it did so much with multi tasking mp3 playing and xvid video, after you installed some programmes.

@vinod1978: The features implemented in 1.0 would have been pretty similar to that of the prototype version. Based on when google bought the company, to having a working prototype of infant software this would have to be the case. Google's work on developing this over the next few year is a result of a large amount of

@Graham J: No, but the one they released did, that is what mattered. If I started up a new company tomorrow, released a cell phone that had a touch screen, with the features of iphone, would i be copying them, or the stacks of other phones that have already released these features before. I dont think the original
