He keeps saying "East Coast", but he talks about ones in Indiana and Ohio, which I would consider Great Lakes or Midwest. Here on the actual East Coast, video rental stores do not exist anymore.

I'm still trying to figure out when Indiana and Ohio became East Coast states.
