I assumed they were rewriting Mance's plot line until I saw how intensely he and Tormund were looking at each other at the execution, and remembered that the show had replaced Rattleshirt with Tomund as the leader of the attack on Castle Black — seems reasonable to think that Tormund replaced him in this plot line…
