Adakius and Pallus! I listened to that album so any times I had the entire goddamn thing memorized. I remember seeing it when it was touring (basically Tom Dutton, a MacBook, and like 30 other fans) and I annoyed my friend by singing every single lyric into his ear. I’ve got no animation skills, but I've always

I highly suggest The Receiving End of Sirens to anyone who loves The Dear Hunter. Another (older) project of Casey Crescenzo, and just an all around amazing band.

YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL TASTE IN MUSIC GOOD SIR

You’ve got Forgive Durden on that list... You listen to Razia’s Shadow?

Screw videogames. I just learned one of my favorite band has released a new song for Act IV. I loved Migrant and the colored albums, but I was hoping to hear something new about act iv soon. yesssss.

Razia’s Shadow was phenomenal. Cope and Hope were both great. Skeleton Key and Animal are fantastic but I don’t enjoy the later Margot stuff. Sad Paper Rival didn’t stay together long enough to produce more stuff.

My fiancée’s favorite band. One of mine as well, but she is just craaaazy about them. :)

If you end up liking Margot and The Band With A Really Long Name (But Not As Long As My Joke About Their Name), check out Typhoon. Their second album was my favorite of 2013. Also I have to recommend Cloud Cult at every opportunity, so look them up too. “Light Chasers” was a life-changing album for me. I once sloppily

Cursive, Mother Mother, Paper Rival, Lovedrug, Margot and The Nuclear So and So’s, Forgive Durden, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, Group Love, Kurt Vile, Melpo Mene, and Manchester Orchestra. I’m coreydwillis on Spotify if you want to add me. :-)

If you like TDH, you can’t go wrong with Hotel of the Laughing Tree. Not a carbon copy of TDH or anything, but there are similarities in tone and style. Lots of surprises in their song composition, especially on “Terror and Everything After.” Also good for TDH fans: The River Empires. Casey was involved in that

Yeah! They’re easily one of my favorite bands. I might have journeyed across the whole of California to see them three times during the Acts tour. And by “might have” I mean “definitely did, and highly recommend it”

Cannot Wait for Act IV, have the special edition vinyl pre-ordered. Any recommendations on similar/weird stuff?
