Second thing: I kinda wanna see DeVoe victorious, and then have the Legends - unaffected because they were in a different time - come home to find themselves in the top ten smartest people in the world.
“This means DeVoe can’t hide from us anymore.”
Umm, DeVoe can still transform his appearance into anyone he wants. I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Resting bitch face got really bad in the future she’s from, to the point where even when she’s in neutral she looks like she’s plotting genocide.
There’s an article somewhere.. TVLine maybe? Where Grant says he’s known all season who Mystery Girl is. But that, when he watched back her last appearance with Caitlin and Cisco even he didn’t understand why she seemed menacing when she was leaving.
He is 10 levels deep, his plan is so nuanced it only LOOKS incredibly stupid. It’s so well thought out we couldn’t hope to comprehend it.
So DeVoe watched Idiocracy and decided that’s the world he wants?
My affection for Leo has left me cold to your profession of dislike.
You should check out Black Lightning. It’s really good.
I think a big problem is that these shows revolve around one singular hero. Most people consider The Gifted, Runaways, Agents of SHIELD, and Legends of Tomorrow to be the best of the modern comic book shows. All of them are ensemble pieces that can change who the focus character is every episode.
I’ve said this before, but I’ve advocated for a Stargate-style season structure. And there were times that those filler episodes ended up tying into…
What bugs me is how they took 19 episodes to get here then revealed the entire theme of Thinker’s defeat in 43 minutes, throwing away a lot of storytelling possibilities. Even freaking worse they eliminated the character with the most overt emotions on the team - the one who would play into the theme they’ve set up…
DeVoe was thrown off because Barry was moping. Little did we know the most annoying thing about The Flash was his true hidden superpower.
I love Schall in about anything but there's no doubt, this has been her best work.
Future Conversation With My Wife:
Which is the same episode where Sarah Lynn said:
It's looking like we can always count on a Bojack Episode 11 to wreck us.
The writers have been setting this one up for the long-haul, that's for sure. From a Horsin' Around flashback in Season 1, Episode 3:
I’ve never been one who could really relate to the Tumblr-y notion of “getting hit in the feels”. I enjoy television, but most of the time it remains that: television. Which is the only preface I can offer when I say that this episode “destroyed” me. It shook me to the core, in a way I haven’t been shaken since, well,…
