The Volvo 5 cylinder. Especially the T5 Turbo version. It warbles like a canal boat at low throttle and sounds a speed speedboat under heavy acceleration. Never heard anything like it in any other car I have ever driven.

That's a 1992-1993 accord. The tailights were different on 89-91 models. And 1st gen 3.0 CL wheels too.
I saw an E type the other day in British racing green. About snapped my neck looking at it. It's a gorgeous thing to behold. Gave the owner a thumbs up and he honked back in response. It is always neat to see a legend in person.
Agreed on accord sport 6MT. Recently drove one and I really enjoyed it. That car is very very good. Big improvement over the previous model.
Preferably a non turbo K jet equipped model that burns and leaks oil so it must be checked daily. It should feature manual everything, a/c that gave up the ghost in 1991 , no heat and coolant odor heat due to leaking heater core, a 4 speed manual with the overdrive button (doesn't work), a ratty cassette deck (can…
1st gear - y'all can keep those Mazdas. Ill keep my Volvos.
Not sure if y'all consider a 17 year old Volvo 850 Turbo Sportswagon with 208k on it an "old car", but I drive it every day and maintain it mostly by myself. The car never fails to put a smile on my face despite all its little imperfections. The car has the T5 engine with an 850R ECU upgrade, so it features 250…
V6 models aren't so bad. The iron duke is just insufferable however.
An 80's Buick Century preferably with the iron duke or any equivalent GM crap can from the era. The ultimate symbol of an 80/90s tightwad.
Crack pipe. Worth maybe half of that on the very best days. The car is clean and unmolested which is rare for a CRX but that price is pure bullshit.
As an 855 Turbo owner with a clean driving record I am inclined to agree with biased waffles.
I'm surprised the minivan wasn't number one. The description of the minivan driver is completely accurate. Every time I'm stuck behind someone who is going 10 under in the fast lane it's a minivan driver on the phone. Every time I am being tailgated by someone when I am already doing 20 over with someone in front of…
Damn that looks hot as a coupe. The sedan looks good IMO as well. The original Impreza was available as a sedan, coupe or wagon. Why can't the "WRX" line do the same? I think it would be cool to have a choice of 3 bodystyles for your AWD Turbo rally machine.
Bingo. Nailed it.
YOU WILL BOW TO THE ALMIGHTY BUNGHOLE.
This is all I really care about from NYIAS. I have been so excited about the V60 since I saw the pictures of the euro only model. By a long shot the sexiest wagon you can buy right now. I can't wait to drive the R. The sportswagon is back and my 855 turbo approves.
Much agreed. This is what I'm most excited about from NY this year. Would be the perfect car to join my red 1996 855 T5 wagon in the garage. Sportswagon FTW! Go Volvo!
She's actually pretty good on the road. No accidents, no tickets. Ever. She is a tiny little woman of barely 5'2 so big cars, even though she drove them for years, were not the best idea. Either way she is happy driving the MKZ to the shops and to the Golf Course for 18 holes a few days a week.
I think every driver in Boca Raton where they live is 80+. I don't think taking one 80 year old who has never had an accident or even a ticket off the road will solve the issue there.
Good choice. My 80 year old grandmother who can barely see over the steering Wheel has an MKZ and she is quite pleased with it. Her last car was a Lincoln town car but when the old cataracts started acting up she and grandpa started to really have issues parking that behemoth. A trip to the Lincoln dealer and a black…
